If you are new and have questions, reach us at info@northsideswimacademy.com if you cannot find an answer to your question. Also feel free to give us a call M-F 8:00am-8:00pm EST at extension 1 and Sa-Su 8:00am-8:00pm EST at extension 0. You may also text us at that same number 24/7.

  • $35.00 per month for single adult: covers one 18+ individual (one 18+ guest allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per month)
  • $60.00 per month for a single adult & child: covers one adult and one child (one guest allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per guest per month)
  • $70.00 per month for small family membership: covers two adults and two children (two guests allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per guest per month)
  • $150.00 per month for large family membership: covers three adults and five children (unlimited amount of guests allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per guest per month)


  • Your monthly payment will be charged on the 1st of each month (prorated if you sign up in the middle of the month), which allows you access to FREE family open swim, FREE in person consultation, no renting fees for mobile swim and 25% of every monthly payment is saved as NSA Credit. This credit can be used for any of our classes. Membership holders pay 40-50% less for any of our scheduled programming.
  • Example: For one person without a membership, learn to swim lessons would cost $150.00 for 4 sessions. For one person with a membership, paying $35.00 monthly, would only pay $80.00 for 4 classes (40% savings). $115.00 would be the total cost of that month which is $35.00 off from the non-membership payment.

  • Community Swim classes take place in more convenient locations like private home pools and neighborhood pools outside during the months of May-September. Learn to Swim takes place usually at public pool spaces all year round. For community swim lessons our prices are $30.00 ($15.00 for members) per lessons for one registrant instead of $40.00 ($24.00 for members) per lesson for one registrant.

  • Continuation fees are simply set up to allow you to opt to continue your lessons on file if the expiration date of your lessons passes before you complete them. Continuation fees are $20.00 per month and will be billed with your purchase of any learn to swim lessons or water aerobics classes. This $20.00 will be immediately refunded if the client completes the lessons before the expiration date, but will be used to extend the expiration date by 4 more weeks. 
  • The client may request that the $20.00 continuation fee is refunded once lessons expire if they wish to not continue the remaining lessons they have on file
  • Clients will only have to pay continuation fees up front for purchases of 4 lessons or water aerobics classes or higher


  • As of right now we have indoor locations open all year round at our LA Fitness locations in Snellville GA, Sandy Springs GA with our hotel pool partner (ALOFT Perimeter Center), also located in Sandy Springs GA. 
  • During the warmer months, we have outdoor locations (private home pools) in Lilburn GA, Stockbridge GA, McDonough GA, Kennesaw GA and Powder Springs GA for our extended community swim lesson season. These locations are open May-October (not all location open schedules will be the same).
  • We are always expanding and adding locations as well so, these locations will not be our only locations indefinitely answer to this item. If you do not see a location that works for you, please fill out our location waitlist form (found on the Learn to Swim Lessons Page).


  • First there is an option for a consultation to assess goals of the client (FREE on the phone consultations, $25.00 for in person consultation, $30.00 for meet and greet). Our coordinators will then match you with the best instructor that is the best fit factoring in distance, coach’s niche, and client’s preferences. When matched the client and instructor will work together to create a schedule that works for both of them for the mobile swim lessons. The client and the instructor then decide on a place to hold the lesson.
  • Mobile private swim lessons are held at the client’s home pool, community/neighborhood/complex pool, a recreational center (with facility approval).


  • Written notice by email or text to Northside Swim Academy is required to cancel. Reason for cancellation is encouraged, but not required (may impact eligibility to hold payment on file and/or to be refunded). 
  • Clients must notify Northside Swim Academy 48 hours or more before scheduled programming and 24 hours or more before mobile private swim lessons.
  • Clients may cancel at any time and the situation will be assessed to determine what the outcome will be. The outcome options could be the following: partial to full refund, reschedule to another day, transfer funds to another service, or hold payment on file for future lessons.
  • Failure to notify Northside Swim Academy before the day of your lesson of cancellation will result in no refund or rescheduling eligibility. If a client would like to take another class, they must pay for the next class in full (unless circumstances are explained to management and management decides to give the client grace due to their situation). Each situation will be handled according to our policies first.
  • Legitimate reasons for cancellation: include unsafe weather conditions, pool malfunction, medical reason, and personal/family emergency. The client is required to let instructor AND management know if they seek to have the highest chance of being eligible for rescheduling, refund, or payment credit. Details only needed if a consistent pattern of personal/family emergency is used.  If the reason does not fit the criteria then the client will have the option of removing one lesson from their paid lessons or pay a $40.00 late notice fee to reschedule.


  • Yes absolutely! We provide lifeguard services as well for $30.00 an hour per lifeguard (minimum of 2 guards) with a $25.00 confirmation fee (fully refundable if canceled 48+ hours in advance).
  • We require 2 guards at minimum because we want to make sure our guards do not get fatigued by scanning one location for a time over 30 minutes. Guards will rotate every 30 minute to make sure the pool deck remains clean and neat, guards get the chance to rest, and to make sure our guards are not being mentally and physically fatigued.


  • Nope! If you are signed up for lessons at LA Fitness, we will make sure you are let in through the emergency pool door OR if you go through the front desk, upon payment, you will receive an entry pass email with a jpeg/png file that you can show to the LA Fitness staff


  • In order to join our swim team programing, you will need to schedule a tryout with the head coaching staff at the practice location that you would like to be registered. This is done with a $10.00 down payment and communication with the swim team coordinator of that location. 
  • This $10.00 down payment is 100% refundable or transferrable and is just to reserve your swimmer's spot(s) on the team until the tryout process is completed.
  • Once the tryout is completed, we will recommend the level of which your swimmer would be the best fit in. 
  • If they are NOT ready for the team, we may place them in our learn to swim lesson programing or our pre-swim team programing. Our vision is to make sure EVERYONE has a route to get to swim team, and that even though it may not happen right then and there, it WILL happen with hard work. 


  • Yes! The North-Stars Swim Team is an official USA Swimming team partnered with USA Swimming. We compete in swim meets against all of the other USA Swimming teams in Atlanta GA.


  • Master swim team is basically swim team for adults. We offer this for intermediate swimmers who can swim down the pool with freestyle and is looking for basic technique work with stamina training in a swim team organized fashion. We also offer it to our advanced swimmers training for a triathlon, open water race, USA Master Swimming competitions, semi-pro competition, pro competition, and collegiately. 
  • Your first week is FREE and then the rest of that month's payment is only $40.00. After this it becomes a monthly subscription of $70.00 per month. This may be paused at anytime as long as it is before the first of the month.

No! We try to make the sign up process as quick and simple as possible for our clientele! If you would like to re-up your mobile private swim lessons, please communicate this to your assigned instructor and they will communicate this to management. If you would like to renew you learn to swim lessons, please call 678-208-3629 ext. 701 and our coordinator team will confirm the dates and times of your sessions. You will then receive the payment link and the date confirmation email again. If you would like to fill out these forms again, that is an option as well too.


Yes absolutely! Please reach out to your county general manager about this inquiry in order to change locations. There is no additional charge for this as long as you email us with 48+ hours notice before your next lesson is scheduled.
