  • We understand that group lessons need to be sized appropriately for the age group and ability group to maximize focus equally on ALL students.
  • We like to keep our class sizes small with a maximum of 3-4 kids per class depending on the level/age group
  • Parent/Tot Classes (Levels 1A and 1B) have a cap of 6 families per one instructor
  • Levels 1C and 2 have a cap of 3 students per class
  • Level 3A has a cap of 4 students per class
  • Pre-Swim Team Practice (Level 3B) has a max cap of 5 kids for our 10&U and 6 for our 11&O


  • Yes all of our indoor pools are heated and safe to swim all year round in
  • During the colder months, please make sure to shower, dry-off, and be fully clothed when walking out of the facility after any programing to keep your health safe. 
  • The cold making you sick after swimming is a MYTH and can easily and safely be combatted by following the guidelines above

  • $35.00 per month for single adult: covers one 18+ individual (one 18+ guest allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per month)
  • $60.00 per month for a single adult & child: covers one adult and one child (one guest allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per guest per month)
  • $70.00 per month for small family membership: covers two adults and two children (two guests allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per guest per month)
  • $150.00 per month for large family membership: covers three adults and five children (unlimited amount of guests allowed on membership for extra $10.00 per guest per month)


Your monthly payment will be charged on the 1st of each month (prorated if you sign up in the middle of the month), which allows you access to FREE family open swim, FREE in person consultation, no renting fees for mobile swim and 25% of every monthly payment is saved as NSA Credit. This credit can be used for any of our classes. Membership holders pay 40-50% less for any of our scheduled programming. When you start a membership with us, you will fill out your card information on our checkout site. If you are signing up after the 15th, 50% will be refunded to you. A card is REQUIRED for a membership to be active. 

  • Example: For one person without a membership, learn to swim lessons would cost $150.00 for 4 sessions. For one person with a membership, paying $35.00 monthly, would only pay $80.00 for 4 classes (40% savings). $115.00 would be the total cost of that month which is $35.00 off from the non-membership payment. 


  • As of right now we have indoor locations open all year round at our LA Fitness locations in Snellville GA and Sandy Springs GA. We also offer personal training at ALOFT Perimeter Center Hotel in Sandy Springs. 
  • We are always expanding and adding locations as well so, these locations will not be our only locations indefinitely answer to this item. If you do not see a location that works for you, please fill out our location waitlist form (found on the Learn to Swim Lessons Page).


When you sign up for any programing listed below, you will need to start a subscription for our programing fee as well. Our programing fees are monthly payments of $15.00 per family. This will apply to the following programs: 

  • Learn to Swim Lessons (Group & Individualized)/Community Swim Lessons
  • Private Coaching Sessions (Non-North-Stars Swim Team Members)
  • Parent/Tot Classes
  • Water Aerobics Classes
  • Hydro Physical Therapy
  • Scheduled Personal Training
  • Adaptive Swim Lessons
  • This will be billed on a monthly basis and must stay active for the entire time that you are doing programing with us. 
  • Cards MUST be put on file upon sign up or else any bookings/attempts at sign up will not be accepted. You will be able to put a card on file on our checkout site. 
  • If your card is declined for more than 48 hours after the bill date, any remaining programing on file will automatically be cancelled.
  • Programing fees MUST be cancelled 48+ hours before the bill date. Requests under that will NOT be accepted. 
  • Programing fees are NON-REFUNDABLE
  • All programing fees are waived if you choose to opt in to our membership program
  • Programing fees do not apply to the following programing
    • Age Group & Master Swim Team
    • All Mobile & Virtual Inquiries
    • Customized Workouts
    • Merchandise Purchases

  • Written notice by email or text to Northside Swim Academy is required to cancel. Reason for cancellation is encouraged, but not required (we are willing to work with you and make exceptions on an individualized situational basis). 
  • Clients must notify Northside Swim Academy 48 hours or more before scheduled programming.
  • Clients may cancel at any time and the situation will be assessed to determine what the outcome will be while making sure we are following our policies along with treating each situation separately. 
  • Failure to notify Northside Swim Academy before the day of your lesson of cancellation will result in a late cancel and be counted for the programing on that date. If a client would like to reschedule, they must do so 48+ hours in advance. Each situation will be handled according to our policies first. 
  • For every 2 classes/lessons/sessions you purchase you get 1 late cancel before your lessons automatically expire upon the late cancel after you run out of late cancels for your purchase (example: purchase an 8 lesson bundle will get 4 cancellations). This is applicable for individualized lessons and parent/tot classes (not group learn to swim lesson classes). 
  • For every purchase of classes/lessons/sessions you will get 3 reschedules. Once you reach 3 in the purchase of your lesson, your lessons will automatically expire after your next one, your lessons will automatically expire. This is applicable for individualized lessons and parent/tot classes (not group learn to swim lesson classes). 
  • Expiration dates are set based on the start date of your programing (or by default 14 days from purchase). Expiration date guidelines are explained in detail in our handbook found on our home page of the website. 
  • Expiration dates can not be extended unless we as a staff make a mistake or an unforeseen circumstance comes up. This will be handled on a situation by situation basis. 
  • For group learn to swim lessons you will have a 24 hour period after the class to schedule a make up. Make up requests after 24 hours from the originally scheduled lesson will not be processed. Each full month enrollment has a total of 2 make-ups. If a child misses 2 classes without make ups scheduled, the lessons will automatically be cancelled. 
  • The expiration date of the classes will automatically be the Sunday directly after the last scheduled class.


  • Nope! If you are signed up for lessons at LA Fitness, we will make sure you are let in through the emergency pool door OR if you go through the front desk, upon payment, you will receive an entry pass email with a jpeg/png file that you can show to the LA Fitness staff


  • Booking is done on the "Appointments" tab on our checkout site.
  • Booking can be scheduled with our coordinating team on our checkout site. We will take all the tediousness out of booking for you. You may opt to do this on your own.
  • If you choose to do this yourself, booking must be approved by our coordinating team. If payment and/or programing fees (or membership fee) is NOT paid, bookings will be denied until the sign up process is completed.
    • You may reserve anything 48+ hours in advance. If you reserve something under 48+ hours because of an error in our booking system, this request has a high probability of not being honored. If this happens you will receive a text message from our coordinating staff. 
  • Once you book, you will receive a confirmation text and email when management approves the lesson! You will also receive a reminder text automated from our point of sale system to remind you the time and date of the lesson. 


No! We try to make the sign up process as quick and simple as possible for our clientele! If you would like to re-up your mobile private swim lessons, please communicate this to your assigned instructor and they will communicate this to management. If you would like to renew you learn to swim lessons, please call 678-208-3629 ext. 1 and our coordinating team will confirm the dates and times of your sessions. 


  • First there is an option for a consultation to assess goals of the client (FREE on the phone consultations, $25.00 for in person consultation, $30.00 for meet and greet). Our coordinators will then match you with the best instructor that is the best fit factoring in distance, coach’s niche, and client’s preferences. When matched the client and instructor will work together to create a schedule that works for both of them for the mobile swim lessons. The client and the instructor then decide on a place to hold the lesson.
  • Mobile private swim lessons are held at the client’s home pool, community/neighborhood/complex pool, a recreational center (with facility approval).


  • Yes absolutely! We provide lifeguard services as well for $30.00 an hour per lifeguard (minimum of 2 guards) with a $25.00 confirmation fee (fully refundable if canceled 48+ hours in advance).
  • We HIGHLY RECOMMEND 2 guards at minimum because we want to make sure our guards do not get fatigued by scanning one location for a time over 30 minutes and there does not have to be any safety breaks. Guards will rotate every 30 minutes to make sure the pool deck remains clean and neat, guards get the chance to rest, and to make sure our guards are not being mentally and physically fatigued. If there is only one guard assigned, then there will be safety breaks called for 10 minutes every 50 minutes. This is under the terms that the ratio is not exceeded for one lifeguard.


  • In order to join our swim team programing, you will need to schedule a tryout with the head coaching staff at the practice location that you would like to be registered. This is done with a $10.00 down payment and communication with the swim team coordinator of that location. 
  • This $10.00 down payment is 100% transferrable! This fee is not refundable, but can be used as a discount on our learn to swim lesson program, pre-swim team payment, or any other one of our services if they do not make the team. If they make the team, the $10.00 will be deducted from your first payment. 
  • Once the tryout is completed, we will recommend the level of which your swimmer would be the best fit in. 
  • If they are NOT ready for the team, we may place them in our learn to swim lesson programing or our pre-swim team programing. Our vision is to make sure EVERYONE has a route to get to swim team, and that even though it may not happen right then and there, it WILL happen with hard work. 
  • If you have worked with our coaches outside of Northside Swim Academy, a coach may vouch for you to be on swim team to our swim team leadership. Head coaches and assistant coaches have automatic approval from swim team leadership to make this call. Assistant coaches need to receive approval from swim team leadership and the head coaching staff of that location. 


  • Yes! The North-Stars Swim Team is an official USA Swimming team partnered with USA Swimming. We compete in swim meets against all of the other USA Swimming teams in Atlanta GA. 


  • Master swim team is basically swim team for adults. We offer this for intermediate swimmers who can swim down the pool with freestyle and is looking for basic technique work with stamina training in a swim team organized fashion. We also offer it to our advanced swimmers training for a triathlon, open water race, USA Master Swimming competitions, semi-pro competition, pro competition, and collegiately. 
  • Your first week is FREE and then the rest of that month's payment is only $40.00. After this it becomes a monthly subscription of $70.00 per month. This may be paused at anytime as long as it is before the first of the month.  


  • You may receive a full refund if you decide to cancel your order within 14 days from purchase (with a cancellation fee of $25.00)
  • If you have over 50% of your programing left and you are within the 28 day time window from purchase, you may request a partial refund (with a cancellation fee of $25.00). If this is outside of said time window, then refunds will NOT be granted. 
  • If lessons have not started after 14 days from purchase will NOT be refunded (we may be able to offer a discounted rate or account credit to make up for any mistakes on our parts). 
  • If you have completed 50% or more of your programing, you will NOT be able to receive a refund.
  • The cancellation fee will always be deducted off of refund amount. You would not have to pay a new fee and then we refund you. 
  • Programing fees are NOT included in the refund


Yes absolutely! Please reach out to your county general manager about this inquiry in order to change locations. There is no additional charge for this as long as you email us with 48+ hours notice before your next lesson is scheduled.
